Healing your past - Transforming your future

Therapy in Nottingham

I work with childhood trauma. If you are looking for Counselling/Therapy because you have experienced a challenging relationship with emotionally immature or narcissistic parents, you may be experiencing some trauma symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/CPTSD.

If you struggle with feelings of;

Guilt and Shame

Perfectionism

People Pleasing

Difficulty trusting others

Difficult getting close to others

Low self-esteem, self worth, self-loathing

Anger issues

Stress and irritability

Sleep issues

Hypervigilance

These can all due to traumatic experience. Either a single event or ongoing exposure and feeling unsafe.

The impact of childhood trauma can also cause many physical health problems, such as chronic pain, heart disease and fibromyalgia. The experiences of emotional neglect and rejection leave deep emotional Counselling can help you to relieve these symptoms of trauma, get to know and understand and even like yourself better, so that you can enjoy life and relationships in the very near future.

Counselling is talking therapy, but not all talking therapy is equal. I offer a holistic, integrative approach, working with the mind-body connection in a way that is unique to you, allowing you to feel seen, heard and understood. Together we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives, new insights and self-awareness. Counselling isn’t about giving you solutions or advice, but empowering you to create change on a deep level.

I look forward to helping you become your future self.
